Spyro Games – Buy Original PS1 CDs or download off Playstation Store?

I’ve been thinking about getting into the Spyro games. I remember watching my cousin’s friends playing it (and then it froze, lol) and curious if the game was good or not. I’ve done some research and I found out that the original Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon are on the Playstation Store to download for the PS3/PSP.

I’d say get the disks and play on the PS2. A lot of them don’t scale down well or control strangely on the PSP, I’ve found. You can usually find PSone game discs cheaper than what Sony sells them for through the PSN store. The main reason to get them through the PSN would be to play them on the PS3 and PSP, but if you don’t have a PS3, I wouldn’t bother.
