How do you transfer content FROM the new Xbox 360 slim?

My boyfriend got the new 360 Slim. It is always restarting over and over again. So we are returning it to costco. We know were the hard drive is and everything. But can we transfer the content onto the old 120 hard drives? We dont know what to do. & he’s not loosing all his guns/prestiges/fall cammo, just because he got a faulty xbox 360.

You can buy the hard drive transfer kit for around £15.
Just hook it up to the slim, and another 360 console, and you can tranfer all the data.
