How do you change Xbox 360 normal profile to Xbox 360 live Profile on the new dashboard NXE?

I want to join Xbox Live but i don’t want to lose all of achievements. So is there a way to change a normal xbox 360 profile to xbox live profile on the NXE dashboard. Please help.
